[edit]

yeah is a genre created for HIM.

"Love metal"

[edit]

Has been changed to coincide with the other albums. Love metal is not a real genre. --Dayn 03:32, 3 January 2007 (UTC)

Whether or not it is a genre, I'd like to note that it is linked minimally from Running Up That Hill as a genre. Therefore, we should settle on a solution, as it is highly confusing in current situation. -- 88.103.74.46 11:34, 9 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Lovemetal.jpg

[edit]

Image:Lovemetal.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Love metal? Emo?

[edit]

First, is "love metal" even a genre? I though it was just a term that Ville came up with in order to describe the music of H.I.M. (I assume because there was/is so much debate over which genre they do or do not fit in). Second, what any of this has to do with emo I have no idea. Emo as a musical genre is very different from anything H.I.M. have ever put out, even if "emo kids" do listen to it.

Prose Suggestions

Please note that all of these are suggestions, and can be implemented or ignored at your discretion.

  • Released on 11 April 2003, HIM began recording demos for the album in spring 2002, after an exhausting touring cycle for their previous album, which nearly broke the band up. suggest After an exhausting touring cycle, which strained the band to the point of nearly breaking up, HIM began recording demos for the album in the spring of 2002, and released it on 11 April 2003.
